Classic Shape 2: Triangle

Today's lesson was an exercise in balance and proportion. I'm sure you have seen this ubiquitous shape a thousands time in different styles and blooms but the same triangular form.

A table/hospital/occassions arrangement classic, I presented this to a friend who was recuperating in the hospital after the birth of her firstborn, a son. =)

Welcome to the world, Ian Kye!

Flowers used: Roses, yellow peacock

Classic Shape 1 - Dome

Here is a classic shape which you may have seen in restaurants and hotel lobbies. The dome is usually used as posies, side table flowers or modified to a flower basket. This versatile shape can be used with fresh or artificial flowers in monotone blooms or mixed with a secondary flower for the added zest.

Flowers used here: Red roses, daisy pom-poms and tiny white daisies.
